The 11 year old boy Buma lives with his grandparents in the Mongolian steppe. With a homemade hang-glider he tries to fulfill his dream of flying in that flat region. More often than not his attempts end in falls and injuries though. Only when his grandparents send him to a Buddhist monastery as an apprentice to an old monk, things start to change... A parable
